Ad Concepting, Trade Show Displays, and Email Campaign Development.
Mr. Roof and Able Roofing began as a chimney sweeping company. From there they became a thriving roofing business. Able Roof became the “go to” place for both residential and commercial customers. While Mr. Roof Spread throughout the country to provide services elsewhere.
Mr. Roof started 2014 with a campaign running centered on "The Roof Crew". In 2015 I took that core and gave each member a personality. Taking on their three main selling points. While the Email and trade show campaigns introduced their newer products. The trade show materials detail their new window installation services. While the email campaign expanded on their up-and-coming commercial division.
Tessemae's is a salad dressing and condiment company dedicated to using all-natural, healthy ingredients. Founded by three brothers bringing their mother's recipe to the world.
Tessemae's approached Planit with the task of creating an infographic for their bottles. The graphic would explain the congealing that happens to the dressing. Additionally, bring the fun and organic nature of the brand into it to make it feel nothing like others.
I illustrated the graphic and the typography to feel custom to the brand and give it a personality of its own. The graphic also details steps on how to mix it up and make it "look normal."
Lego Touchscreen and Display
Lego tasked the Darko team with designing a way for customers to locate their products in store. We created an interface that sat at the end of the lego aisle that would be simple enough for anyone to use. The touch screen allowed people to go through Lego's library of toys. The customers could browse by category, release date, or use a search function. Then it would display a catalogue of all the season's sets. The customers could then read reviews pulled from Lego's website, and order online from the screen.
Biography Book Cover
I designed a mock book cover for a biography of a classmate's life. through interviews, I found out my friend Joe Wathen was an Eagle Scout and avid Backpacker. He told stories of some of his favorite trips with the troupe. During one of the interview sessions, he rounded up some of the gear he would never leave without. After explaining each piece and let me borrow it. That gear, arranged neatly on my kitchen table, became the cover of his biography.
